Bushfire Royal Commission recommendation 15 : 6 .2 Do it

The need for a proper site analysis
If you shouldn't be there on one of those days - at least tell em so!
While The Commisions interim report is anything but punchy ( what's really needed ) , was good to hear one of our local CFA people reinforce the above recommendation today .
The State needs to have the courage to state the need in statute!
The idea is to get the CFA , Shire or DSE to evaluate each site on the criteria below ( aspect on hills etc )and tell the owners whether they can be expected to be asked to "evacuate" or not.

The facts in such reports are safe ground, even for a pile of comfort zone critics!

Point of order though - you can tell people too much ! ( more detail on forestandfire.blogspot.com ) !

It now summer 2017-18 What has been done to create safer places ( on say roads to appolo bay and lorne?
Craig Apsleys toothless tigers in Empire Emergent Management are too busy either beaing u the lastest weather forecast to ecxtrem proportions , chasing cry wolf merchants and trying to play director Dad to dumb kids ( "don't drive through water" when speed and poor road drainage is the big issue to watch out for) to notice where the wolf is at any one time . we know because we are there and we know/practice place driven consensus.
